MagicGrip and slip resistance

All MagicGrip people are trained and accredited in its safe and correct installation, enabling full warranty. One of the critical aspects of this training is working with the various relevant regional and international Standards for pedestrian slip resistance.

Simply put, slip resistance is the concept of increasing the coefficient of friction (in our case, on a pedestrian surface) to such a point that it resists a slip.

Where MagicGrip excels is delivering slip resistance in the wet, where statistically over 95% of all slip and fall accidents occur.

Surpassing International Safety Standards

Because MagicGrip is a treatment product, solving slip-in-wet problems, the standard scale used is the British Pendulum Test (or the ASM in the US). Please contact us to specific guidance in your region.

MagicGrip meets or surpasses all relevant Standards sited. In equivalent scales, it is able to meet R10, R11 and R12 ratings. Contact us for regionally specific data.

MagicGrip is suitable for use in practically every slip hazard situation.
