11,000 signed for Sky news Iraq war alerts
Only days after launching more than 11,000 people have signed up to the Sky News
text alerts allowing them to receive updated happenings in the Iraq war through
the Broadsystem procedure.
The alerts, launched the day the Iraqi war started, are promoted by a constant
scrolling message across Sky News.
Broadsystem supply the web page content author to Sky that allows them complete
control over the messages being sent out. The easy to use system means a very
fast turnaround time for any newsbreaks, allowing Sky’s customers to be
the first with the most up to date news.
Viewers simply text SKY IRAQ ON to 80088 to register and from then on will receive
the news alerts.
